Hey guys! I’m Ritisha and I’m one of the co-pres’ this year. I’m super passionate about neuro and pharmacology. I’ve been researching Parkinson’s disease for over two years. Other than that, I’m a travel-aholic, big film fanatic, huge foodie, and love playing volleyball and soccer.

Hi everyone! My name is Lili (she/her) and I’m one of the co-presidents this year. I love the brain and everything about it! I am currently working on a project about post-operative outcomes with surgical interventions for anterior fossa meningiomas. AKARI TOMITA
I’m currently doing a double major in Neuroscience and Medical Anthropology. I’m interested in the intersections between these fields, especially in terms of research and real-life applications in the medical field. This summer I’ll be working at the Predictive Care Lab, which will let me explore this further! In my free time, I like to dance and play the clarinet. THEODORA MATASARU
Hi! I’m Theodora and I’m in my third year, doing a Neuro specialist + immunology and physiology minors. I am fascinated by the neuropathology of Alzheimer’s disease and schizophrenia, as well as sleep and circadian rhythm disorders. In my free time I love to sketch and do watercolour illustrations, read, spend time in nature, and travel! Feel free to reach out about any questions you may have! Hey everyone! My name is Crystal, and I’m one of the two NAUS Graduating Year Representatives this year. I am currently in my fourth year, double majoring in Neuroscience and Immunology, and minoring in Physiology. From the mechanisms underlying learning and memory to stem cell-based therapies, my research interests are extremely broad. In my free time, I enjoy trying new restaurants, exercising at the gym, and making hojicha lattes!

Hi! I’m from Canada and Japan, and I’m in my fourth year at the University of Toronto majoring in Neuroscience and Cell & Molecular Biology, with a minor in Immunology. I’m especially interested in learning and memory, as well as neurodevelopmental disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder. Outside of academics, I love trying matcha at different cafés, finding new restaurants to explore, and going for picnics in the park!

I’m currently doing a double major in neuroscience and physiology and my research interests are in the intersection between regenerative medicine and neuroscience, as well as plasticity and neuroendocrinology! A fun fact about me is that I did a summer research exchange in Stockholm, Sweden over the summer!

Hi! I’m currently in my third year studying neuroscience and physiology, with a special interest in how brain injuries affect behaviour and cognition. I’m also passionate about pre-hospital care, which deepens my understanding of how urgent interventions can support brain health and recovery. In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball, practicing card tricks, and catching up on sleep. Looking forward to a great year!
